Mrs. Jessica VonderHaar

My name is Jessica VonderHaar, and I am beyond excited to be the Librarian at Annetta! This is my 4th year at Annetta and my 14th year in education.  My hope is that I will inspire all students to become life-long readers.

My husband, Terry Cockerham, and I have been married for 23 years. We have three kids that keep us busy. Jackson is a Junior at the University of Tennessee, Julia is a Senior at Aledo High School, and my 8th grader, June, is at Aledo Middle School. I love to read, listen to 80s music, and spend time with my family.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

“I have a passion for teaching kids to become readers, to become comfortable with a book, not daunted. Books shouldn’t be daunting, they should be funny, exciting and wonderful; and learning to be a reader gives a terrific advantage.” -Roald Dahl
