Principal

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! My name is Holly Elgin and I'm the Principal at Annetta Elementary.  I am excited about the upcoming school year and all we will accomplish in person!

This will be my 11th year in Aledo ISD. Prior to coming to Annetta, I served as the principal at Walsh Elementary for three years and the Assistant Principal at McAnally Intermediate School for five years.

I have been in education for the past 23 years and have served in administration for 12 of those years. My experience has included teaching and administrative roles in both Garland ISD and Wylie ISD. I have been married to my husband, Matt for 23 years and we have two beautiful girls, Lydia (12th grade) and Lily (8th grade). We feel blessed to be part of the Aledo community! We are active members at Christ Chapel West.

I look forward to getting to know all of the families of Annetta Elementary.  What an incredible opportunity to grow and learn together!
